A dedicated student of mind and body training, her big loves within this realm are aerial dance and yoga. Her movement quality and teaching pedagogy are deeply influenced by over 15 years of  experience as a yoga teacher, dance improvisation and collaborations with other artists and humans. 

Mimi is passionate about sharing her experience as a performing and teaching artist.  With a deep reverence towards technique as a means to breakdown skills and cultivate easeful, seamless sequences, Mimi's classes cater towards a range of students from brand-new learners to those interested in professional training. She seeks to foster a supportive space that provides the most inclusive instruction to students of all backgrounds and aspirations and believes that aerial can be accessible to anyone interested in expanding their horizons.     

In 2014, Mimi developed the aerial dance program at National Dance Academy in Coralville, Iowa and has since offered recreational aerial classes, camps and performance intensives for youth, teens and all levels of adults.  She also enjoys working with students on act creation and development and offers private lessons and aerial hoop instruction.
